A = AEROPLANE MODE:
Can operate in Fast Forward Flight mode similar to aeroplane - bank, roll, pitch and yaw.
H = HELICOPTER MODE:
Can operate with VTOL (vertical take off & landing) similar to a helicopter - pirouette, high torque yaw authority.
A + H = UFO MODE:
Can operate in both aeroplane & helicopter modes with the addition of VTV (Virtual Thrust Vectoring). Advanced flight dynamics for unrivalled flight performance. Allows the addition of translated control.
WHAT IS VTV OR VIRTUAL THRUST VECTORING?
Our unique system of "thrust rotors" allow un-precedented flight control.
The system is made up of variable pitch rotors that when "mixed" can produce, not only high torque yaw authority, but also directional vector components in ANY translational combinations.
The result is the unique ability to fly when demanded in purely translational planes or in unlimited combinations of translation, pitch, yaw and roll. Particularly in aiding FFF (fast forward flight).
VTV has the opposed effect of stabilising the craft in adverse winds or wind sheer events, in conjunction with on-board flight controller and gyro systems.
